Help Us Find You When An Emergency Occurs

 

In an emergency, seconds count. Finding the correct address can be challenging at times, particularly on a dark, rainy or snowy night. You can help us locate you faster by posting your 9-1-1 address where it can be easily seen and read.

Tips for posting your address: 

  • Use large, reflective numbers (available from the local hardware store).

  • Position the numbers so they face the street and are not obstructed by tree limbs, shrubs, hanfing flower baskets, etc.. Keep in mind that our fire truck seats are higher than a pickup truck's. Our view point is different from a pedestrian walking past your house.

  • Insure that columns, railings or other objects do not block our view of the address as we approach from either direction.
